Reflection
I hope you have enjoyed viewing my Learning Module. I began creation of this module with my only experience and expertise centered around adolescent education; I have since grown my skill set as an Instructional Designer to emphasize best practices based on principles of universal design. This module and it's instructional activities were designed after a careful analysis of the learners it is intended to address, as well as a careful crafting of objectives on outcomes that are deemed necessary by the employers. Through Universal Design, I deliberately designed activities that optimized relevance, value, and authenticity to what learners are expected to complete. I also specifically included activities that fostered collaboration and community that will benefit learners in the workplace. Overall, this project demonstrates my commitment to incorporating best practices in instructional design to ensure learners find success in meeting stated objectives.
